 WSB Returns to Kyalami
Minimize

The South African round of the WSB championship has been confirmed. After 6 years of absence, SA motorcycling fans will get to attend a WSB round at Kyalami again.

Much has changed since the last time the event was held in SA, with capacities now 1000cc four, and 1200cc twins, as well as the single tyre manufacturer rule.

Many of the factory teams that have tested here in December 2008 will have an advantage. The only factory team not to test at Kyalami so far is the Paul Bird Motorsport Kawasaki team, who will no doubt be on the back foot come race day.

So far Ducati are leading the way in testing, but with newcomers like BMW, and the return of Aprilia with a V4, as well as the rumours of KTM entering the fray with the exotic RC8-R, things might not all go Ducati's way.
