The rumour persists... Valentino Rossi will be going to F1. The only question seems to be when?

Speaking to Reuters recently, Ferrari president, Luca di Montezemolo, said that he would not take 'no' for an answer from Rossi, should the third car rule come into existence in F1 next year, and that he would do 'everything' to have Rossi in a Ferrari F1 car. 

If Rossi wins the MotoGP championship this year, it would be his tenth championship title. Ferrari believe that he has nothing further to prove. Rossi has stated that he will not discuss the matter until June, when his current Yamaha contract is up for renewal.

We think that Rossi will still want to beat Agostini's record of 122 premier class wins, which could take until 2013 at the earliest.

Only time will tell...
